NSAC confirms Jon Jones tested positive for anti-estrogen substance
UFC 200 took a huge turn just days prior to the event taking place when it was revealed that Jon Jones was pulled from the card for a potential Anti-Doping Policy violation.
While news of Jones’ violation was known, the banned substances that Jones tested positive for was not released. However, Chael Sonnen and Rashad Evans both claimed that Jones tested positive for estrogen blockers prior to any official news being released on the subject.
ESPN’s Brett Okamoto got a confirmation on Monday at the NSAC meeting saying, “Just confirmed at NSAC meeting, Jon Jones tested positive for anti-estrogen substance.”
