UFC superstar Jon Jones gave his prediction for Saturday’s light heavyweight title bout at UFC 259 between Jan Blachowicz and Israel Adesanya. Jones, the longtime UFC light heavyweight champion, took to social media the day before UFC 259 to give his prediction for Saturday night’s main event. On his Twitter, Jones said he is predicting Adesanya gets knocked out by Blachowicz on Saturday night, though he later deleted the tweet. However, the tweet was screen-captured (via Chamatkar Sandhu).

UFC president Dana White has said he’d love to have new heavyweight contender Jon Jones in attendance at the upcoming UFC 260 card. The event in question at the end of the month will play host to Stipe Miocic vs. Francis Ngannou 2. The fight will be contested for the UFC Heavyweight Championship, with the expectation being that Jones will be thrust into an immediate title shot against whoever comes out victorious.

UFC superstar Jon Jones offered to end his rivalry with Daniel Cormier, sending DC the following message: “What do you say DC, friends?” Jones and Cormier had one of the most bitter and heated rivalries in UFC history. The two were on a collision course for the UFC light heavyweight title and met in a highly-anticipated main event at UFC 182 in 2015. Jones won a unanimous decision that night but would soon deal with several legal issues and find himself stripped of the title. In 2017, Jones and Cormier met in a rematch, and Jones knocked DC out with a head kick. But the result of the bout was overturned to a No Contest after Jones tested positive for PEDs.

Daniel Cormier has responded to the latest diss from his long-time rival, former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones. Jones and Cormier, widely regarded as two of the best fighters of all time, have met twice previously. They first met in January, 2015, with Jones winning by decision. In their second meeting, which occurred in 2017, Jones knocked Cormier out, but the result was overturned when he failed a drug test.

UFC heavyweight contender Francis Ngannou scoffed at the comments made by Jon Jones during last night’s UFC Vegas 20 main event broadcast. Jones, who will be moving up to heavyweight later this year, was critical of the performance by Ciryl Gane and Jairzinho Rozenstruik in the main event of UFC Vegas 20. Though Gane won a 50-45 decision on the scorecards, it was not an exciting fight for the fans. That led to Jones tweeting something about the fight, which ended up making the broadcast during the main event. Ngannou, in turn, saw Jones’ tweet on the broadcast and decided to chime in himself and get in on the fun. Jones is set to move up to heavyweight for the first time in his MMA career later this year. The former UFC light heavyweight champion has been bulking up in preparation for the move up in weight for the past year. Jones’s move up to heavyweight is sure to be one of the most talked-about storylines for the rest of 2021. We have seen some videos of him lifting weights and putting on some muscle, but we haven’t seen any footage of him actually moving around the Octagon with his heavyweight frame, until now that is.

Jones is set to make his UFC heavyweight debut this summer and he has been sharing videos over the last six months of himself bulking up. The former UFC light heavyweight champion has boasted he now weighs over 250lbs. With Jones’ heavyweight debut just a few months away, as UFC president Dana White is targeting a summer date for it, “Bones” has been really taking it a whole new level in his weight training. In a workout video posted on his Instagram, the all-time great is seen doing rack pulls at 545lbs and then at 605lbs.

Fans and media are always debating who the greatest fighter of all time is, and all three of Jones, Nurmagomedov, and Adesanya are often at the top of their lists. Many consider Jones to be at the very top of the list because of his incredible UFC record in title fights. Bones is 14-0, 1 NC in UFC title fights, which far exceeds Nurmagomedov’s 4-0 record and Adesanya’s 4-0 record. All of those title defenses are one of the main arguments Jones backers make about his GOAT status. Nevertheless, there are many who think Nurmagomedov and Adesanya are better.
