Before Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones rematch in the headlining bout of next weekend’s UFC 200 event in Las Vegas, watch “Bones” defend his title against Chael Sonnen from UFC 159 in 2013.

The Jones and Sonnen bout at UFC 159 came together after “Bones'” camp refused to take a short-notice fight with Chael in the wake of Dan Henderson’s injury just prior to UFC 151. The event was cancelled and Jones and his camp were torn to shreds for their decision.

Sonnen would use the situation to develop a heated rivalry with Jones over the following weeks and eventually the pair were matched by UFC officials to serve as coaches of The Ultimate Fighter 17 and then fight at UFC 159.

Despite suffering a broken toe early in the contest, Jon Jones was easily able to make his fifth-straight title defense against Sonnen as you can see in the above video.
