The UFC light heavyweight championship title fight between Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones is set to take place at UFC 214 on Saturday, July 29 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

Ahead of the what is being called the biggest UFC card of the year thus far, the stars that will be competing on Saturday took to a press conference on Wednesday to talk about their fights.

Jones and Cormier were hot on the mics and took the opportunity to go at each other like they have been throughout their bitter rivalry.

Interestingly, a recent question that was brought up to Jones by a fan on Facebook has been buzzing regarding a potential fight with current WWE star and former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar. Jones told fans during the Facebook Q&A that he would love to fight Lesnar but stated that he felt Lesnar would likely not accept the matchup. If that was a ploy to lure Lesnar into biting, it worked as Lesnar responded and said: “Anytime, anywhere.”

When Jones was asked at the press conference about the potential matchup with the WWE star, Jones said, ““I will deal with Daniel, and then I’ll deal with Brock Lesnar” (transcribed by Dave Doyle for MMA Fighting).

UFC President Dana White also commented on the matchup and stated that he wasn’t even sure how all the talk of Jones and Lesnar started and stated that he has not had any conversations with Lesnar, yet.

“I don’t even know where that thing came from or how it started,” White said. “First of all, believe me, I haven’t talked to Brock Lesnar and I don’t know.”

If Jon Jones gets his hand raised over Daniel Cormier at UFC 214, would you like to see “Bones” face “The Beast Incarnate,” Brock Lesnar? Let’s discuss this one in the comment section!
