Bellator MMA fighter now undergoing heart surgery after hit-and-run accident
Horrific news broke on Sunday when it was revealed that Bellator MMA fighter Jordan Parsons was involved in a serious hit-and-run motorcycle accident in Delray, Florida.
Parsons had to have his leg amputated due to a serious injury suffered in the accident and now Ariel Helwani reports that he is undergoing heart surgery after his heart was working at 20 percent.
And his heart was only working at 20%. He's currently having heart surgery and that should last another hour or so, per Robinson.

A gofundme page has been made where they detail more about Parsons and the situation.
“Jordan Parsons of Bellator MMA has recently been involved in a hit and run accident. Jordan is currently in critical condition. He has lost his leg and will most likely never compete again. MMA was Jordan’s passion, and his only source of income. Being an up-and-coming athlete, Jordan simply does not have the funds available to pay for the high cost of his medical treatment. We are asking that his friends and fans please support him in any way possible in this time of need. Every little bit helps. It will be a long road to recovery, but with your support, Jordan will be able to focus on his recovery without the worry of the extreme financial burden associated with medical bills. Jordan and his family greatly appreciate all of your support.”
Anyone with information regarding the hit-and-run incident is asked to call the Delray Beach Police Department at (561) 243-7800
