Jose Aldo discusses life following his loss to Conor McGregor
Jose Aldo (25-2 MMA) has been relatively quiet since suffering a 13-second knockout loss to Conor McGregor in the headlining bout of December’s UFC 194 event in Las Vegas.

The former UFC featherweight champion joined Ariel Helwani on yesterday’s edition of The MMA Hour where he discussed his life since the shocking defeat:
“Mentally I’m ok.” stated Aldo through a translator. “This is part of the sport. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. I’ve been working out for a few weeks now and I am getting ready to go again.”
Helwani asked Aldo how many times he had watched his KO loss to McGregor, to which Jose responded:
“I didn’t watch it a lot because we saw the mistake and now we know what we have to do.”
Ariel asked Jose to elaborate on his ‘mistake’ at UFC 194 to which Aldo replied:
“Actually, I didn’t see any big mistake. I landed a punch and he landed a punch. His just landed better.”
