Things were looking pretty rough for Junior Dos Santos at the end of 2015. On December 19, in his first fight in over a year, the former heavyweight champ looked torpid and gun-shy, and was ultimately knocked out by Alistair Overeem.

Luckily, Dos Santos was able to bounce back big-time in his next bout, thumping the streaking Ben Rothwell to a well-earned unanimous decision win in April. Regrettably, Dos Santos also sustained a shoulder injury in that bout, which relegated him to the sidelines while the heavyweight division surged on in his stead.

As the video above shows, however, Dos Santos has been cleared to return to training. This, of course, means he’ll probably be able to fight in the not too distant future.

“I’m back, back to action,” Dos Santos says in the video. “Wait for me, cause I’m coming!”

Do yourself a favor and watch a jovial JDS announce his return to training, and then sing and dance in celebration. Sometimes it’s easy to forget that this guy is one of the hardest punchers in the history of fighting.
