Luke Rockhold reacts to fighting Michael Bisping at UFC 199
Tuesday afternoon, news broke that former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman would no longer be able to compete in his scheduled UFC 199 rematch against Luke Rockhold. Weidman went on to explain that he suffered an injury in training that would result in surgery, sidelining him for 8-12 weeks.
Wednesday morning it was announced that Michael Bisping would be stepping in on short notice to fight Rockhold for the middleweight championship, a rematch of their 2014 fight in which Rockhold submitted Bisping in the 2nd round.
After the announcement of Bisping stepping in on short notice, Rockhold took to Twitter to comment on the situation:
I'm not fucken leavin, the show goes on. #ufc199 pic.twitter.com/pYEorupmng
