Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao Farewell fight: Bradley, Khan, Crawford?

Timothy “Desert Storm” Bradley had been asked all week if he and Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao will compete in a “rubber match” that will more than likely conclude the first and only 8 division world champion’s historical career.
Bradley gave no details about a potential match up and and allowed his wife and manager, Monica Bradley, to respond saying he’d prefer not to think about it.
Pacquiao and his team apparently have been deciding on a possible matchup after a month of looking at the possibilities.  In the end Pacquiao chose Bradley as his next opponent, according to The philstar in Manila.
Pacquiao’s next fight has been scheduled to take place on April 9 in Las Vegas, however, a venue has not yet been determined.
Bradley (33-1-1, 13 knockouts) is one of three fighters Pacquiao is considering, along with Britain’s Amir Khan and unbeaten top prospect Terence Crawford. Bradley is presumed to be a front running vote getter because he is the welterweight WBO champ, he has a 1-1 record against Pacquaio, and a win against Brandon Rios cemented him as one of the elite fighters in the world.
Bradley, like Pacquiao, have their contracts with Top Rank Promotions, and that Pacquiao’s promoter, Bob Arum, has said in the past that he’d prefer not to do business with Khan’s promoter, Al Haymon. Arum is suing Haymon for $100 million, stating that Haymon’s Premier Boxing Champions, a move some Top Rank’s attorneys say was positioned to gain control of the boxing industry.
A potential third bout between Bradley-Pacquiao would be the rubber match, Bradley winning the first of two fights in 2012, and Pacquiao evened the score just last year. Pacquiao a guaranteed $20 million, while Bradley, will see a $6 million dollar payday.
Pacquiao (57-6-2, 38 knockouts) fought through pain during his fight in May with Mayweather last year due to a torn rotator cuff on his right shoulder, he’s since went through surgery and has gone through the necessary rehabilitation to get back into full form.
“Pac Man” fighting with Khan (34-3, 19 knockouts) is a fight that some fans have been waiting for, while Khan for a few years seems like the right opponent for Pacquiao a fight with Khan still might go down. Khan recently proposed a fight in Qatar, no response yet from Paquiao’s camp regarding the offer. Terrance Crawford (27-0, 19 knockouts) is The Ring magazine #7 P4P fighter in the world, this fight could work but in the world of sports entertainment, money talks and most don’t feel like it would produce well on PPV.
