Marlon’s aggressive tweet comes shortly after Rivera had taken to Twitter and campaigned for a scrap with former UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt.
. @Cody_Nolove says he healthy, let’s put a show on for the fans. He wants to defend his spot and I want to take it. @seanshelby @ufc

The former World Series of Fighting bantamweight champion, Marlon Moraes (20-5-1 MMA), was most recently seen in action at last month’s UFC Fresno event where he earned a brutal first-round knockout victory over Aljamain Sterling.
Moraes has gone 2-1 since joining the UFC ranks in June of 2017. “Magic” suffered a split-decision loss to Raphael Assuncao in his UFC debut and then rebounded by earning a split-decision nod over John Dodson in November.
Meanwhile, Jimmie Rivera (21-1) is currently riding a twenty-fight win streak, his most recent victory coming over Thomas Almeida this past July in Uniondale.
Rivera has gone 5-0 since joining the UFC ranks in July of 2015, which includes a first-round knockout victory over Marcus Brimage.
