UFC vet Matt Riddle once again sounds off on “biggest d*ckhead ever” Dana White

By Tom Taylor - July 5, 2017

It’s now been more than four years since Matt Riddle’s last fight in the UFC: a no contest with Che Mills that was overturned when Riddle tested positive for marijuana. It’s been more than three years, meanwhile, since his last mixed martial arts bout, a win over Michael Kuiper under the Titan Fighting Championships banner.

So how has the UFC veteran been staying busy and paying the bills since then? By competing as a pro wrestler.

Speaking to Metro, Riddle explained that he couldn’t be happier having left the world of MMA behind – particularly the UFC and it’s president Dana White.

“I’m so happy,” he said. “After I was released [from the UFC] I was trying to find fights in other companies, and one day I came to a conclusion. I couldn’t get any fights, but I thought wait, if I keep fighting, I’m just going to end up fighting back in UFC, so what was I doing? I was going to work hard just to end up back where I hated?”

“And since I left there’s been the corporate takeover and the Reebok sponsorships and Dana White being the biggest dickhead ever.”

Riddle then elaborated on this “biggest dickhead” comment.

“It’s true, I’ve said it before but he’s such an asshole, man,” he said. “I don’t know how someone can have that much money and be in the position of power and control… Well I guess that’s why. It’s unreal to me.”

He then explained that he finds White very disrespectful.

“Extremely,” he said when asked if the UFC boss is disrespectful. “I’ve heard him say very offensive things. He’s said things to me, called me an effing loser, and that he didn’t know how I could take care of my kids.”

Yeah I’m such a loser that I went from one sport where I was ranked top ten in the world and went to another sport (pro wrestling) where I’m one of the best in the world.

That’s what losers usually do Dana.”
