Bisping says Conor McGregor sent him a nasty text following his prediction of Alvarez winning their UFC 205 main event

Conor McGregor is not someone you want to cross. Following reports of ‘Mystic Mac’ sending a threatening Facebook message to middleweight contender Gegard Mousasi, another fighter has come forward and revealed that the featherweight champion has sent him a nasty message.

UFC middleweight champion and part-time FOX Sports commentator Michael Bisping says McGregor sent him one such text after Bisping went on record to say that he believed Eddie Alvarez would beat Conor McGregor at UFC 205 in New York City while retaining the lightweight title in the process.

In the clip, Bisping said the Irish superstar disagreed with the middleweight champion’s prediction of an Alvarez victory at UFC 205, and felt compelled to text him and let Bisping know.

“We have the same management team; Conor and I, and Conor didn’t take too kindly to that, he sent me a bit of a nasty message,” Bisping revealed on the Ultimatem MMA podcast.

“Bisping picks (fight predictions) in a whole different manner,” Eddie Alvarez replied. “When Michael (predicts) a fight he’s calling them a p**** and (things like that). There’s one way to pick (fights) and there’s the Michael Bisping way of picking (fights),” Alvarez said to Bisping’s amusement.

Fellow middleweight Gegard Mousasi recently said nearly the same thing; following his second round TKO win over Vitor Belfort, Mousasi called out all sorts of fighters, from his own in the middleweight division to McGregor himself.

“Mystic Mac” reportedly sent Mousasi a Facebook message wherein he threatened him with him a knife, according to Gegard Mousasi.

Following revelations of another nasty message to another UFC fighter, it seems as if Conor McGregor is the wrong man to cross or in Michael Bisping’s case, the wrong fighter to pick against in a fight.

UFC 205 will take place on November 12 at the historic Madison Square Garden, where Alvarez and McGregor will headline the UFC’s first ever event in New York.
