Luke Rockhold and Michael Bisping agree to fight on Twitter
Yesterday evening news broke that former UFC middleweight title holder Chris Weidman had suffered an injury and was forced to withdraw from his scheduled UFC 199 rematch with current champion Luke Rockhold on June 4 in Los Angeles.
Shortly after the news broke, multiple fighters took to Twitter to ask for the short-notice fight with Rockhold.
One of those fighters was perennial contender Michael Bisping (28-7 MMA). “The Count” issued the following statement, which was quickly responded to by the UFC’s middleweight champion:
I do, the people do, I think Luke, not so much.

Bisping few things I enjoy more than shutting your mouth. The pleasure would be all mine, again.

Michael Bisping and Luke Rockhold already have a history having fought at UFC Fight Night 55 in November of 2014. Rockhold won that fight via second-round submission.
Since then Bisping has rattled off three-straight victories, his latest being a decision win over former champ Anderson Silva in the main event of UFC Fight Night 84.
