While Michael Bisping currently reigns as the UFC middleweight champion, ‘The Count’ knows, no one can fight forever.

On the heels of his impressive unanimous decision win over Dan Henderson in Manchester, England last month in the main event of UFC 204, Bisping is currently waiting to find out who the next challenger to his middleweight title will be. In the meantime, it looked as though Bisping would be fighting former UFC welterweight kingpin Georges St-Pierre at UFC 206 in Toronto, although negotiations between St-Pierre and the UFC failed, leaving Bisping sidelined as he recovered from injuries sustained in his UFC 204 fight with Dan Henderson.

With Bisping keeping a close eye on tonight’s middleweight clash between Chris Weidman & Yoel Romero on the main card of UFC 205 in New York, he spoke to MMAJunkie to discuss the possibility of him retiring after he loses the belt one day:

“Never say never, you can’t fight forever,” Bisping told MMA Junkie. “I’ve been doing this for a long, long time. I’ll probably keep going until I lose the belt then just say (expletive) it. Cheers.”

In regards to who he would prefer to fight between Weidman and Romero, Bisping stated:

““(I would like to fight) Weidman, because he’s a tit. No, Weidman’s all right. I’ve got nothing against Weidman. I’ve berated his accomplishments as a champion. That’s what started this beef a while ago. He’s all right. I like him and his whole team – they’re all really, really cool guys. We’re both competitors. He wants what I’ve got. There’s a bit of history there. I think people will be interested in that fight, as well.”

While it looked as though the winner of this month’s Jacare Souza vs. Luke Rockhold fight could also be thrown into the title mix, Rockhold withdrew from the fight due to an injury, and as a result Jacare was left without an opponent, leaving the winner of Weidman vs. Romero to be crowned as the #1 contender.

Give us your prediction in the comments section below as to who will win between Weidman and Romero! Does either man stand a chance of beating the middleweight champ?
