Michael Bisping says he is up for fighting Daniel Cormier at UFC 200
Michael Bisping shocked the world just a little over a month ago by stepping in to fight Luke Rockhold for the UFC middleweight title at UFC 199 on two weeks notice. Bisping realized his 10-year UFC career dream, knocking Rockhold out in the very first round and claiming the UFC middleweight title.
Now with UFC interim light heavyweight champion Jon Jones pulled from the UFC 200 light heavyweight title fight with champion Daniel Cormier, Bisping says he is willing to step in and fight Cormier.
Bisping tweeted on Wednesday after the news broke of Jones’ potential anti-doping policy violation, “2 months, 2 weeks, 2 days…… Hmmm middle vs light heavy???? I stand by my words. I’d do it!”
