Michael Bisping sends Chris Weidman a message following UFC 205 loss to Yoel Romero

Former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman suffered a shocking third-round loss to surging contender Yoel Romero this past Saturday night at UFC 205 in New York.

Weidman had a terrific opening round against the Cuban wrestling specialist but Yoel was able to turn the tide midway through round two.

In the early seconds of round three, “The Soldier of God” was able to land a brutal flying knee that sent Weidman crashing to the canvas. Romero followed up the thunderous strike with some ground and pound which forced the referee to step in and stop the contest. Watch the finish here.

Following his victory over “The All American”, Romero called out current UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping.

“The Count”, who was in attendance performing broadcasting duties, responded to Yoel by standing up and flipping him ‘the bird’ while being featured on the big screen at Madison Square Garden.

The brash middleweight champion had been involved in some nasty exchanges with Chris Weidman on Twitter prior to UFC 205. However, “The Count” opted not to kick “The All American” while he was down and instead sent him the following positive message. Check it out:
