PHOTOS | UFC champion Michael Bisping looks very different following his rematch with Hendo
Despite being dropped on multiple occasions in the opening ten minutes of his main event title fight with Dan Henderson at UFC 204, Michael “The Count” Bisping was able to comeback and outpoint “Hendo” in the later rounds of the contest on route to a unanimous decision victory, thus retaining his UFC middleweight championship.
With his title-retaining victory over Henderson, Bisping also moved past Georges St-Pierre to capture the record for most wins in UFC history with twenty.
In addition to that, Bisping also holds the record for most significant strikes landed by any fighter in the organization’s history. He’s landed more leg kicks than any fighter in UFC middleweight history and has also scored more UFC middleweight wins than any fighter in history.
The brash Brit recently posted some pictures on Instagram and judging from the photos Bisping will be “wearing” his fight with Henderson for quite some time.
Michael Bisping has had an incredible year in 2016. It started when “The Count” scored a unanimous decision victory over former middleweight kingpin Anderson “The Spider” Silva in February.
Bisping then took a short-notice fight with Luke Rockhold at June’s UFC 199 event in Los Angeles, where he shocked the world by scoring a first-round knockout victory to become the UFC’s middleweight champion.
With his win over Dan Henderson last night at UFC 204 in Manchester, Michael Bisping has cemented his status as one of the best fighters to ever compete in the UFC.
