Report: Michael Bisping vs. Dan Henderson being targeted for October UFC middleweight title fight
It sounds like Michael Bisping and Dan Henderson are getting the fight they both want.
Combate reported on Friday that UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping and #13 UFC ranked middleweight Dan Henderson have both verbally agreed to fight one another for the UFC middleweight title in October. The report states that the contracts are expected to be signed in the coming weeks with the official announcement from the UFC coming shortly after.
Both Bisping and Henderson have stated that they want this fight as “The Count” is looking to avenge his loss to Henderson where he was brutally knocked out at UFC 100 back in 2009.
Henderson is at the tail end of his career and told Brian Stann on his radio show that if he were to fight Bisping, it would be the last fight of his career before retiring.
