VIDEO | Jorge Masvidal and Michael Bisping have heated confrontation in NY

For months, UFC welterweight Jorge Masvidal and UFC middleweight champ Michael Bisping have exchanged venomous trash talk in interviews and on social media. Given that they’re both scheduled to fight at UFC 217 in New York City this Saturday, it seemed like a matter of time before they crossed paths in person and all hell broke loose.

Well, it finally happened.

On Wednesday morning, the two UFC 217 fighters collided outside the elevators at the fighter hotel. What followed was a hurricane of profanity, bravado and chest-puffing, as several onlookers struggled to keep the pair separated. Regrettably, Masvidal also seemed to utter an F-bomb during this exchange, and we know full-well the kind of backlash doing this creates.

“Kiss my ass,” Bisping says during their tiff. “Look at you, you skinny, little bitch.” 

“Yeah that’s right, look at these abs bitch,” Masvidal fired back. “And I’ve been eating cheeseburgers all week long!”

Michael Bisping will fight in the UFC 217 main event, when he will attempt to defend his middleweight title against returning MMA superstar Georges St-Pierre. This bout will be the Brit’s first since an October 2016 defeat of Dan Henderson.

The ever-dangerous “Gamebred”, meanwhile, will compete against Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson on the main card. This bout will mark his opportunity to rebound from a razor close decision loss to Demian Maia – a decision many fans felt he should have won.
