Recently, the Irishman has hinted at UFC 296 as a landing spot, but the UFC has yet to confirm that.

On October 14, Logan Paul and Dillon Danis are scheduled to square off in the co-main event of the KSI vs Tommy Fury card in Manchester, England. It’s a bout that has been teased for a long time now, but many fans have already said they don’t think it’ll happen. The reason, of course, is because Danis pulled out of his previously scheduled showdown with KSI.

There, the two champions put on a show, going back and forth for 25 minutes. At the conclusion of the five-round contest, Islam Makhachev retained the lightweight gold by unanimous decision.

Former UFC contender Nate Diaz doesn’t forsee Conor McGregor fighting Michael Chandler. ‘The Notorious’ has been out of the cage since a stoppage loss to Dustin Poirier in July 2021. The former double-champion broke his leg in the final seconds of the first round, prompting him to be on the shelf for over two years. During that time, Conor McGregor famously left USADA to recover from the injury.

Chandler was looking to defend his Bellator lightweight title in the main event of Bellator 221 in May 2019 against Pitbull. It was a highly-anticipated fight, but in 61 seconds, Patricio Pitbull won by TKO as he dropped Michael Chandler early and finished him with ground strikes.

Michael Chandler thinks Conor McGregor is getting a raw deal on TUF 31. Chandler and McGregor are serving as the coaches of the show and so far, Team Chandler is a perfect 6-0 in the fights. As well, on the show, McGregor isn’t seen at weigh-ins and some contestants on the show have said he isn’t always there for training. However, Michael Chandler says that is not true, as it was only weigh-ins that Conor McGregor never attended.

Dana White has provided a big update on the potential Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler fight. McGregor and Chandler are coaching TUF 31 and the hope was the fight would happen in December. However, a big hurdle was the Irishman re-entering the USADA testing pool as the drug testing administrator had said Conr needs to be in the pool for six months before he can fight.

Michael Chandler has revealed what went through his head when Conor McGregor shoved him in the face on TUF 31. Chandler and McGregor served as coaches on the latest season of The Ultimate Fighter and are slated to fight one another after the show concludes. With the two set to fight, the tensions are running high – especially after Lee Hammond, one of McGregor’s teammates lost on the show. Following Lee’s loss, Conor McGregor was visibly angry and upset and began chirping Michael Chandler.
