Bryan Caraway says Ronda Rousey should have to beat Holly Holm before fighting Miesha Tate

UFC bantamweight contender Bryan Caraway does not believe former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey should receive an immediate title shot when she returns to the UFC octagon.

According to “Kid Lightning”, it is not fair to have Rousey fight for the title while coming off of a loss, when other girls like Amanda Nunes have put together solid win streaks of their own:

“If we just keep the cycle of Ronda always in the mix, it’s not really fair for these other girls who put together a win streak and get pushed aside,” Caraway told MMAjunkie.

He continued:

“Nunes is on a three-fight win streak and is looking super tough,” Caraway said. “She finished Sara McMann. She absolutely deserves that (a title shot).”

Caraway’s long time girlfriend Miesha Tate shocked the world this past weekend in Las Vegas when she upset the previously undefeated Holly Holm via fifth-round submission to earn the UFC women’s bantamweight title in the evenings co-main event.
