Luke Rockhold predicts faceplant knockout win over Mike Perry at BKFC 41: “I think you’re f*cking falling face first”

Former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold is expecting a big win in his BKFC debut.

The 38-year-old signed with the bare-knuckle boxing promotion earlier this year. While Rockhold retired after his loss to Paulo Costa last August, he seemingly jumped at the offer to join BKFC. For his debut, the former middleweight champion will face Mike Perry.

‘Platinum’ is now 2-0 in the promotion after exiting the UFC in 2021, and is looking to make it three wins this Saturday. However, the former middleweight champion seems to believe he’ll have an easy night at the office. Rockhold discussed his BKFC debut in an interview on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, and also Perry himself.

There, Luke Rockhold predicted that he would cause his opponent to faceplant this weekend. While it’s his debut in the promotion, the former UFC titleholder believes that he’ll be hitting Mike Perry at will. Rockhold believes that his opponent’s lack of defense will lead to the highlight-reel finish.

“Watch the history of my fights. When motherf*ckers come at me like you, I hit you,” Luke Rockhold stated to Mike Perry in a recent edition of The MMA Hour alongside Ariel Helwani. “I’m going to f*cking fade back, I’m going to crack your a*s, and, I think you’re f*cking falling face first Mike, you’re going to go face first.”

He continued, “You think I’m going to be right there? Motherf*cker I can move… There isn’t no corner [to catch me] dog, it’s a circle. I’m going to be moving, I’m going to pimp you all over that f*cking ring.”
