The popular welterweight knockout artist, Perry, recently took to Instagram where he congratulated his opponent on executing a solid game-plan while assuring his fans that he will be back stronger than ever.

“Everything was good this week. No excuses, my opponent came with a good game plan and he put it together well. My cardio could have been better tho. I’ll be back and I’ll be better ! #FightersFight #ItIsWhatItIs #ImNotHappyWithMyself #But #ThisWillMakeMeBetter #NextOnesTheBestOne” – Mike Perry

Perry and Ponzinibbio went to war for fifteen straight minutes in the second bout of last night’s UFC on FOX 26 main card in Winnipeg.

In the end both Mike and Santiago were left bloodied and bruised, but it was Ponzinibbio who walked away with the judges decision.

The loss snapped Perry’s two-fight win streak which included ferocious knockout victories over Jake Ellenberger and Alex Reyes.
