The “Platinum Princess” ignores Colby Covington, issues positive statement following Mike Perry’s loss at UFC Orlando.

Mike Perry

Mike Perry suffered his second straight setback on the main card of last night’s UFC on FOX 28 event in his hometown of Orlando, Florida.

Perry was outpointed by fellow welterweight Max Griffin in front of his home crowd at the Amway Center and is now “back to the drawing board” after falling out of the welterweight divisions title picture.

Prior to his recent two fight losing skid, Perry had scored back-to-back knockout victories over Alex Reyes and Jake Ellenberger respectively.

Shortly following Perry’s loss to Griffin at last night’s UFC Orlando event, fellow welterweight Colby Covington decided to cause some “Chaos” went he sent out the following tweet attacking “Platinum” and his long-time girlfriend Danielle Nickerson.

“Hey @PlatinumPerry, maybe having your ratchet horse faced girlfriend as your head trainer isn’t the smartest idea on planet earth. But hey, when you’re the product of cousins fucking in Ocala FL how strong can your decision making skills be? #UFCOrlando” – UFC Orlando

Mike Perry and a plethora of other UFC fighters fired back at Covington for his rather tasteless tweet (see that here).

However, “The Platinum Princess” opted not to address the brash welterweight when breaking her silence on social media.

“he fight game is a tough one, but you are relentless and can achieve whatever you put your mind to. In order to perform on the highest level everything must fall in place and last night some things didn’t. No matter the outcome I will always be proud of you and believe in your abilities, and you will forever be my favorite fighter. You have been given a divine talent that I know you won’t let go to waste. Next ones the best one @platinummikeperry love you” – Danielle Nickerson
