Miley Cyrus sounds off on Nate Diaz’s UFC 196 win

At UFC 196, Nate Diaz pulled off one of the most spectacular wins in UFC history as he submitted Conor McGregor with a rear naked choke in the 2nd round. The event as a whole broke every UFC record according to UFC President Dana White, and saw many high profile celebrities in attendance.

Shortly after the bout, pop music icon Miley Cyrus took to Instagram to react to Diaz’s win.

I actually am a big fan of Conor and think his showmanship and athleticism is a wicked combination (even though fighting isn't usually my vibe id rather it in a ring then on the streets ❤️ in an entertaining rather than violent form, usually the good sports always hug it out at the end) BUT with that being said huge congratulations to Nate Diaz VEGAN ufc fighter and now champion! Plant based people can be just as strong as carnivores and I am super stoked to see such a fine example! Thank you for representing us and the "green community" so well ND! (And if u got any recipes pass em on)

So far there’s no word yet on what will be next for Diaz, however the Stockton California fighter has stated that he would like to fight for the lightweight championship in a rematch with Rafael dos Anjos.
