Nate Diaz on Eddie Alvarez vs. Conor McGregor: ‘F–k them both, you know both those little bi-ches are afraid to fight me

Nate Diaz doesn’t think much about the UFC 205 lightweight title fight between lightweight champ Eddie Alvarez and featherweight champ Conor McGregor.

Diaz tweeted during the UFC 205 press conference, “My little bitches up there fighting for that #2 spot …#industrypunks,” and followed it up tweeting, “Fake phony motherfukers 🔫🔫🔫”

MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani was able to catch up with Diaz and asked the Stockton slap specialist what he thought about the UFC lightweight title fight.

“Fuck them both. You know both those little bitches are afraid to fight me. That’s why they are fighting each other.

“And tell Dana I said get off Conor’s nuts,” Diaz declared. “I left my room to that fight at 176 (pounds), so when I fought I was probably 173. Quit telling people I was a monster to make him look good. I’ve been a lightweight my whole career.”

Diaz went on to explain how Alvarez has been hot and cold on wishing to fight him and that tune definitely changed after he beat McGregor in their first meeting at UFC 196.

“Eddie said I was next after Gilbert, then I called him a bitch in the lobby and he turned the fight down repeatedly until I beat Conor,” Diaz said. “Then he called every day asking for the fight. Bitch. What kinda fighters are these guys?”

Following Diaz’s rematch with McGregor at UFC 202 where he ended up losing a majority decision, the product of Stockton will surely be looking to see what happens with “The Notorious” in his UFC lightweight debut.

If the lightweight championship fight between McGregor and Alvarez at UFC 205 ends up with “The Notorious” on top, Diaz losing the UFC 202 rematch may have just set him up for the best trilogy situation at 155, this time with a belt on the line.
