Nate Diaz reacts to Conor McGregor and Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205 press conference
Monday evening, the UFC announced that Conor McGregor & Eddie Alvarez would square off in the main event of UFC 205 for Alvarez’ lightweight championship.
The event will not only be a historic one, it will give McGregor the opportunity to enter the UFC record books as only the third man to hold a UFC championship in two weight classes. In addition, McGregor could become the first fighter to hold two UFC championships simultaneously.
With that being said, UFC President Dana White has stated that if McGregor emerges victorious, he will have to vacate one of the belts. Despite that, McGregor stated during the UFC 205 press conference that it would take an army for the UFC to take one of the belts from him.
During the course of the press conference, Nate Diaz took to social media to give his thoughts on watching Conor McGregor and Eddie Alvarez verbally go at it onstage during the press conference.

Diaz is coming off a majority decision loss to McGregor in the main event of UFC 202 last month. The fight put Diaz back in the ‘loss column’ after picking up a major win over McGregor in the main event of UFC 196 back in March.
So far, there has been no word yet on when Diaz will return to the Octagon following the loss, however he has remained adamant that he would like a trilogy fight with McGregor sooner rather than later given the fact that he believes he beat McGregor in both fights.
Stay tuned for updates as they become available.
