Nate Diaz weighs in on Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather
While Conor McGregor has never competed in a professional boxing match, there has been quite a bit of talk regarding a boxing match against legendary prizefighter Floyd Mayweather.
While the fight was initially regarded as a publicity stunt, reports have since emerged that the fight will go down in September, leading many to wonder whether or not the two parties have finally reached an agreement.
On a special edition of The MMA Hour, Nate Diaz spoke about the fight, calling it a “publicity stunt. To hide the fact that he got his ass whooped.”
Diaz went on to explain that he feels the fight is being blown out of proportion in order to put pressure on him to accept a fight against McGregor for less money than he is asking for.
