Nate Diaz was up to his usual tricks at the UFC 263 press conference. While most of the questions were towards Israel Adesanya and Marvin Vettori, Diaz sat back in his seat and started to smoke a joint. Of course, with the Arizona commission, you can smoke marijuana all you want as long as you don’t show up to the fight impaired so Diaz took full advantage of it.

Nate Diaz says he feels like he’s fighting for the title on Saturday night at UFC 263. Diaz will return to the Octagon in a five-round welterweight scrap against Leon Edwards. It’s an intriguing matchup and one that was a surprise for many as Edwards isn’t the type of big name draw that Diaz is used to fighting. However, for the Stockton native, he says he wanted to fight the best fighter and that is what Edwards is.

In a very intriguing five-round welterweight bout at UFC 263, Leon Edwards welcomes back fan favorite Nate Diaz. Heading into the fight, Edwards is the biggest favorite on the card at -600 while the Stockton native is a +450 underdog. Ahead of the fight, BJPENN.com reached out to several pro fighters to get their predictions for the scrap. To no surprise, the majority believe Edwards will get his hand raised as many don’t see a path to victory for Diaz.

UFC president Dana White confirmed that the winner of Nate Diaz vs. Leon Edwards at UFC 263 gets the next title shot after Colby Covington. Diaz and Edwards go at it for five rounds or less this Saturday at UFC 263 in what is a huge fight in the UFC welterweight division. Coming off of a massive KO win over Jorge Masvidal at UFC 261, champion Kamaru Usman is currently awaiting his next challenger. We have heard several names mentioned, including Covington and Michael Chiesa, but the winner of the Diaz vs. Edwards fight would also be right up there when it comes to getting a title shot. In fact, according to White himself, the winner will be next up after Covington.

UFC star Nate Diaz shared his thoughts on Francis Ngannou’s recent pay complaint, saying “you should’ve listened to your daddy years ago.” Ngannou recently took to social media to ask what UFC fighters are doing wrong when YouTubers-turned-boxers such as Jake Paul and Logan Paul are making millions in boxing. Ngannou is far from the only UFC fighter to openly question fighter pay, but he is one of the most prominent as he’s the UFC heavyweight champion. In an interview with Kevin Iole of Yahoo! Sports, Diaz fired back at Ngannou for his recent pay complaints, suggesting that he should have listened to Diaz a long time ago when it came to the fighter pay in the UFC.

Leon Edwards has violent plans for Nate Diaz at UFC 263. Edwards and Diaz were supposed to fight at UFC 262 in a highly-anticipated bout. However, the Stockton native suffered a small injury and the bout was postponed to UFC 263 on Saturday. Although it’s on a card with two other title fights, the welterweight scrap will still be five rounds. Yet, Edwards is confident he won’t need five rounds, instead, he’s confident he will finish Diaz.

The two rivals were previously scheduled to meet last month at UFC 262, but the fight had to be postponed after Diaz suffered a minor injury during his training camp for the bout. Now that Diaz is healed up and ready to go, he will meet Edwards next Saturday night in a potential No. 1 contender’s fight at 170lbs.

Diaz returns to the Octagon for the first time since UFC 244 in November 2019 when he takes on Edwards in a five-round, non-title fight at UFC 263. The event takes place on June 13 in Phoenix, Arizona. Ahead of his return to the cage, Diaz posted a photo on his social media of his physique, and he looks to be in absolutely phenomenal shape for the fight.

The two welterweights were supposed to meet last month at UFC 262, but the fight was postponed due to a minor training injury suffered by Diaz. Thankfully, the UFC was able to get the fight re-booked quickly and we’ll see it in just two weeks. On paper, it’s a great fight and the winner could very well be in line for a title shot.

UFC welterweight superstar Nate Diaz has been taking full advantage of the UFC’s marijuana policy change ahead of his return to the Octagon. Diaz returns to the Octagon at UFC 263 on June 12 for a five-round welterweight bout against top contender Leon Edwards. The two were supposed to fight at UFC 262 last month, but the fight was forced back a month after Diaz suffered a minor injury during his training camp. Ahead of his fight with Edwards, Diaz has been taking full advantage of the UFC’s marijuana policy change, as weed is no longer something that will get fighters in trouble with the promotion or with USADA. With the fight against Edwards taking place in Arizona and not in Nevada, where they still test for marijuana, Diaz should be good to go.

The UFC 263 card looks more stacked than ever after it was confirmed that Nate Diaz vs Leon Edwards has been moved to this event. Diaz and Edwards were initially set to square off at UFC 262 which will take place next weekend. However, it’s now been confirmed that an undisclosed minor injury has forced it to be moved back a month to UFC 263 in Glendale.

UFC welterweight contender Leon Edwards reacted after his scheduled fight at UFC 262 against Nate Diaz was pushed back to UFC 263 instead. Diaz suffered a minor injury during his training camp that has pushed the fight against “Rocky” back about a month. Instead of the two rivals meeting at UFC 262 on May 15 in Houston, Texas, the two will now meet at UFC 263 on June 12 in Phoenix, Arizona. The Diaz vs. Edwards bout was is scheduled for five rounds despite it being a non-title fight, and it will be one of three, five-round fights that take place at UFC 263, along with Israel Adesanya vs. Marvin Vettori 2 and Deivieson Figueiredo vs. Brandon Moreno 2.

Diaz and McGregor of course have a long and storied history having fought two times in the past at UFC 196 and UFC 202. In the pairs first encounter, ‘The Stockton Native’ weathered an early storm from the Irishman before turning tide and putting Conor away with a rear-naked choke in round two.

Earlier this morning the former two-division champion, McGregor (22-5 MMA), took to Twitter where he questioned UFC executive Jeff Novitzky while attempting to smear Nate Diaz.
