Nate Diaz sparks up cageside at UFC Austin!

Former UFC lightweight title challenger Nate Diaz was cageside for tonight’s UFC Austin main event fight between Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone and Yancy Medeiros.

In classic Diaz fashion, “The Stockton Slugger” stole the headlines when he decided to light up a joint while being shown on live on FOX Sports.

Nate Diaz has not competed inside the cage since suffering a controversial majority decision loss to current UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor in a welterweight bout at UFC 202 in August of 2016.

Prior to the setback, Diaz was coming off a second-round submission victory over the aforementioned Conor McGregor at UFC 196.

“The Stockton Slugger” recently announced that he was “sick of sitting around” and was looking to return to the UFC octagon in May or June.

In addition Nate also stated that a fight with current UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley “made the most sense” for his highly anticipated comeback.
