The Octagon remains in Nevada for tonight’s UFC Vegas 70 event, a twelve-bout fight card headlined by Nikita Krylov vs. Ryan Spann. Krylov (29-9 MMA) will enter tonight’s main event with hopes of extending his current win streak to three in a row. ‘The Miner’ is coming off back-to-back victories over former division title challengers Volkan Oezdemir and Alexander Gustaffson, the latter of which was a TKO finish (see that here).

UFC light-heavyweight contender Ryan Spann doesn’t really know much about Nikita Krylov. However, he doesn’t really care. ‘Superman’ has been out of the octagon since his clash with Dominick Reyes at UFC 281. In the light-heavyweight showcase last November, Spann picked up the biggest win of his career thus far. Less than two minutes into the first round, he scored a devastating knockout victory over ‘The Devastator’.

Krylov recently fought Johnny Walker at UFC Brasilia on the last card before the UFC was forced into a coronavirus-induced hiatus. Krylov says he had no problems fighting on the card and says he is not worried about the coronavirus. In fact, he believes that people are getting infected just because they are thinking about it too much.
