ONE: Heart of the Lion | Live Results and Highlights

On Friday evening (Friday morning in the North America), ONE Championship returned to the Singapore Indoor Arena with ONE: HEART OF THE LION.

The card was originally expected to be headlined by a ONE Women’s Strawweight Title Fight between divisional champ Xiong Jing Nan and reigning atomweight Champ Angela Lee. Unfortunately, however, this bout was nixed when Lee was forced off the card with an injury.

With this regretable twist, headlining honors went to the card’s original co-main event, a ONE Bantamweight World Title fight between long-time undisputed champion Bibiano Fernandes and interim champ Kevin “The Silencer” Belingon.

The ONE: HEART OF THE LION co-headlining spot went to a short-notice catchweight scrap between Japanese veteran Kazuki Tokudome and Angela Lee’s brother, Christian Lee. Other highlights of the card included appearances from names like Giorgio Petroysan, “Smokin'” Jo Nattawut, and Garry Tonon.
