They’re scheduled to meet for the ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Title, held by Tawanchai, at ONE Friday Fights 46. The card airs live in Asia primetime from the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on December 22.

With the promise of a fierce battle, the PK Saenchai Muaythaigym star guarantees that their encounter will undoubtedly live up to the hype.

“Superbon talks about me often. So, I want to fight him, just as he wants. I think this is the right time for us to crash into each other,” he said. “I don’t know if it is going to be the toughest fight I’ve had or not, but I’m sure it will be a barnburner.”

Originally scheduled to meet in the ring on two separate occasions, setbacks and unforeseen circumstances have led to the postponement of this epic showdown.

Now, with the stage set and the stakes higher than ever, Tawanchai is eager to finally square off against his compatriot.

“Fans have been waiting a long time for this fight to happen because it has been postponed twice already. So, I’m glad it will finally happen,” he said.

Tawanchai not taking Superbon lightly

Having observed Superbon Singha Mawynn’s kickboxing success in recent years, Tawanchai PK Saenchai is well aware of the challenge that lies ahead.

Moreover, he recognizes that beneath the glitz and glamour, Superbon started his journey in Muay Thai. That, in particular, adds an extra layer of intrigue to their main event showdown.

“He (Superbon) has a Muay Thai background, and he has good skills. I don’t think he’s at a huge disadvantage. He is one of the best strikers in the world. He is definitely not an ordinary fighter,” Tawanchai shared.

However, the defending champion is poised to bring the heat, especially as his opponent steps into the ring wearing 4-ounce gloves for the first time.

“I’ve prepared a lot of things for him. Let’s find out in the ring. I’m confident I will beat him as well. This belt belongs to me. I won’t give it to anyone without a fight. I will do my best to keep it,” Tawanchai said.
