VanZant (8-4 MMA) was returning to action for the first time since January of 2019, where she had picked up a submission victory over Rachael Ostovich. That win had snapped a two-fight losing skid for ‘PVZ’, who previously suffered setbacks to Michelle Waterson and Jessica-Rose Clark respectively.

These two were previously scheduled to fight at UFC Brasilia before the fight was scratched to a VanZant injury. Now that she’s healthy again, the UFC matchmakers have decided to re-book the fight after Ribas publicly called VanZant out after beating her replacement opponent Randa Markos in Brazil.

However, she revealed that she received unsolicited “d*ck pics,” that quickly ruined the fun.

VanZant, who is a staple of the UFC flyweight and strawweight divisions, and Vanderford, who is a rising star in the Bellator middleweight division, started by training together naked in the garage of their home.

UFC women’s flyweight contender Paige VanZant recently provided an update on her upcoming free agency plans, saying she is open to all offers. VanZant has one fight left on her current UFC contract. She was set to fight Amanda Ribas at UFC Brasilia last month but was forced to pull out of the fight after re-breaking her arm. Ribas ended up fighting Randa Markos and putting a beating on her but afterward called for the UFC to re-book the VanZant bout. Whoever VanZant fights next in the Octagon will be the last fight on her current deal, and then she will become a free agent.

UFC strawweight contender Amanda Ribas has once again called out Paige VanZant after defeating replacement opponent Randa Markos at UFC Brasilia. VanZant was set to fight Ribas at UFC Brasilia but was forced to withdraw after breaking her right arm for the third time. The UFC called upon Markos as the replacement opponent, and Ribas handled her in dominant fashion, scoring a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards with tallies of 30-26, 30-25 and 30-25.

Paige VanZant was out of action for almost all of 2019 due to a series of severe arm injuries. She was then booked for a return against Amanda Ribas at the upcoming UFC Brasilia card. Unfortunately, that planned comeback was fight was foiled by yet another arm injury. Speaking on Instagram, VanZant opened up on this new injury and promised that it will not keep her out of action for too long. She says she’ll fight again in May.
