TJ Dillashaw: ‘I’d like to see Faber fight someone like McGregor or Edgar’

The guys over at Team Alpha Male Radio gave their thoughts on who Urijah Faber should fight next.

Faber was scheduled to fight Raphael Assuncao at UFC Fight Night 62 but due to injury Assuncao pulled out. So what’s next for the California Kid? TAM members T.J. Dillashaw and Justin Buchholz gave their thoughts on who he should fight next.

Dillashaw:

“There’s a lot of options out there but I’m hoping he gets a big fight, like a big name fight. Someone like McGregor or Frankie Edgar.”

Buchholz:

“At this stage in Faber’s career I would say he needs to fight for belts or super-fights. I would love to see Faber vs. McGregor, I’d love to see Faber vs. Edgar, I’d love to see him against Assuncao also but that’s just not going to happen.

“Faber’s coming towards the end of his career and I’d love to see him get those big fights before he exits the sport.”
