Quinton “Rampage” Jackson issues statement following loss to Chael Sonnen.

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson suffered a unanimous decision loss to Chael Sonnen in the headliner of last night’s Bellator 192 event.

Sonnen (30-15-1 MMA) was able to smother Jackson by utilizing his superior wrestling and was eventually awarded a 29-28 unanimous decision victory after three rounds of action.

With the win, Sonnen will now advance to the second-round of the Bellator Heavyweight Ground Prix and face the winner of the highly anticipated Fedor Emelianenko vs. Frank Mir bout.

Shortly following the tough loss, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson took to Twitter where he assured his fans that he will be back while taking the time to also throw a jab at Sonnen’s performance.

“Win or lose i fight like a man, love my fans that still rides with me,just know I’m still not done,i felt great in there.. i had great at cardio, but Chael fought a smart fight. But he also fought like a bitch.” – Rampage Jackson
