Dos Anjos on McGregor vs. Diaz 2: I Just Saw Two Sloppy Guys
On Monday afternoon, Ariel Helwani returned to our screens with the latest episode of The MMA Hour. One of this episode’s many big-name guests was former UFC lightweight champion Rafael Dos Anjos, who offered up his thoughts on the recent blockbuster rematch between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz.

While pretty much the whole world seemed to love McGregor vs. Diaz 2, Dos Anjos himself wasn’t especially fond of the bout.
“Most of the people [celebrating the fight] watched MMA for the first time that day,” Dos Anjos said. “I just saw two sloppy guys after the second round. The fight got so sloppy. I didn’t see the best fight of all time at all.”
“The first round was good,” Dos Anjos then elaborated. “Conor dropped Nate a couple times, but I didn’t think ‘what an exciting fight.’ I’ve seen better fights.”
Dos Anjos also didn’t agree with the result of the fight, which saw McGregor walk away with a majority decision.
“I scored it for Nate,” he told Helwani on the show.
So, do you agree with Dos Anjos, or is the former lightweight champion perhaps a little biased? Sound off in the comments below!
