The UFC announced on Tuesday that welterweight champion Robbie Lawler will defend his belt at UFC 201 in Atlanta.

With reports coming out that the UFC was working on having Lawler defend his title against Tyron Woodley, the bout has finally been made official.

Lawler will defend his title for the third time after being in two championship wars, with the most recent being against Carlos Condit at UFC 195 in January.

Woodley is on a two-fight win streak but has not competed since January of 2015 after beating Kelvin Gastelum. Woodley was scheduled to face former champion Johny Hendricks in October, but the bout was called off a day before the fight when Hendricks could not make weight.

UFC 201 is set to take place at the Phillips Arena in Atlanta on July 30.
