Ronda Rousey tested by USADA for the first time in 6 months

As rumors regarding former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey’s return to the Octagon continue to surface, fans have only been able to speculate as to when the former champ will return to the Octagon.

With UFC 205 in New York rapidly approaching, where Rousey was expected to make her return, UFC President Dana White has stated that negotiations with Rousey’s team are ongoing, and she would not be returning at UFC 205.

Despite that, a recent photo of Rousey looking in ‘fight shape’ surfaced recently, leading fans to speculate even more about the former champ’s return to the Octagon.

In an interesting turn of events, according to USADA’s online database, Rousey has been tested twice for the first time in over 6 months. Prior to the pair of drug tests in the 3rd quarter of 2016, Rousey hadn’t been tested since the first quarter of the year.

In her last fight in the Octagon, Rousey was brutally knocked out by Holly Holm. The loss was the first of Rousey’s professional MMA career, and saw her lose her spot as the first and only UFC women’s bantamweight champion.
