At UFC 193 Holly Holm put on a nearly flawless performance against Ronda Rousey en route to a 2nd round head-kick KO win that saw “The Preacher’s Daughter” claim the UFC women’s bantamweight championship.

Since the loss, Rousey has turned her attention to her acting career, which will no give her enough time to prepare for a rematch with Holm at UFC 200.

While the UFC has yet to announce a potential date for the rematch, Rousey has stated that she will return to the Octagon in the future.

Rousey’s coach Edmond Tarverdyan spoke to Brett Okamoto of ESPN to discuss Rousey’s loss.

“It’s not about wanting to watch, it’s about whether or not the timing is right or if it’s even necessary.

I know how to speak to Ronda. I know Ronda very well. She doesn’t need to watch that fight. The fight is over. It’s about what we’re doing now. It’s my job to watch the footage and I’m dedicating everything I have to Ronda’s rematch with Holly.”
