Sage Northcutt gets new opponent at welterweight, Holbrook out
With just his third fight in the UFC, lightweight star Sage Northcutt will be going up a weight class to welterweight. Northcutt’s original lightweight opponent Andrew Holbrook has been forced out of competition.
Bryan Barbarena has stepped in to fight Northcutt on short notice as the scheduled event in Newark, New Jersey nears on Jan. 31. Barbarena holds a professional record of
10-3 and is 1-1 in the UFC.

Northcutt will look to keep his undefeated record going into his eighth professional fight.
No news has been released of why Holbrook was forced out of competition.
