Michel Pereira is not happy with Sean Brady for pulling out of their scheduled UFC fight on April 15th. Pereira (28-11 MMA) and Brady (15-1 MMA) were originally slated to meet on March 25th. However, the fight was later pushed back until April 15th due to an injury suffered by the American.

Brady utilized his superior wrestling skills to take Chiesa down and grind him out for a hard-earned decision victory. The fight saw Brady win the first two rounds with his takedowns, top control, and back control before Chiesa stormed back and made a late charge in the third. Although Chiesa was able to win the last round on the judges’ scorecards, it was not enough as Brady was able to clearly win the first two rounds.

The Octagon remained in Nevada for today’s UFC Vegas 43 event, a eleven-bout fight card headlined by Ketlen Vieira vs Miesha Tate. The main event went the full twenty-five minutes. Tate was able to get off some decent punches in the fight, but it was the jab and volume of Vieira that ultimately proved to be the difference maker. After five rounds of hard fought action, the Brazilian was awarded a much-deserved unanimous decision victory from the judges in attendance.

Lee hasn’t fought since March 2020, when he was submitted by current UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira at UFC Brasilia. For the past year, he has been out of action while healing up injuries, but he’s now ready to return to the Octagon this summer. Overall, Lee has lost three of his last four fights and he needs to get back in the win column, but the UFC matchmakers have done him no favors by matching him up with a very tough opponent in Brady in what should be an exciting fight that is set for UFC 264.
