UFC contender Sean Brady has called out fellow welterweight rival, the always controversial Colby Covington, in quite the rant. As we know, Sean Brady is one of the top welterweight contenders in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He has been on quite the journey over the course of the last few years, to the point where he’s now viewed as a potential number one contender for the belt. At the very least, he’s incredibly close to booking a rematch with Belal Muhammad.

Former UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman is interested in fighting Sean Brady in his return. It’s been nearly two years since ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ last appeared in the cage. Kamaru Usman last fought at UFC 294 in October 2023, stepping up on short notice for a rare middleweight appearance against Khamzat Chimaev. That night saw the wrestler bring the fight to the undefeated Chechen, but still suffer a majority decision loss. The defeat was Usman’s third in a row, previously suffering back-to-back losses to Leon Edwards.

Edwards was expected to go one-on-one with Jack Della Maddalena on March 22 in the main event of a UFC Fight Night card in London. When the UFC needed a title challenger for welterweight champion Belal Muhammad, Maddalena was moved to the UFC 315 main event.  Taking Maddalena’s place in the UFC London fight with Edwards is Brady.
