UFC bantamweight contender Sean O’Malley has his next assignment. ‘Suga’ is set to face Pedro Munhoz this summer at UFC 276. The fight was broken by Brett Okamoto and ESPN MMA earlier today. The bout announcement comes just hours after the matchup was leaked as a part of the UFC’s internal schedule. The bout joins a card without the main event, but not lacking in star power.

Last Saturday night, Tyson Fury knocked Dillian Whyte out in the sixth round of their Wembley showdown. In the immediate aftermath of the fight, Fury welcomed UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou into the ring in order to promote a potential crossover fight between them in the future.

Sean O’Malley has shared his thoughts on the potential of a Henry Cejudo vs Alex Volkanovski fight. Henry Cejudo ‘Triple C’, 35, (16-2 MMA), last fought back in May of 2020 at UFC 249 where he defeated Dominick Cruz (24-3 MMA). At the post-fight interview, Cejudo announced his retirement.

Weeks before his bout with the UFC bantamweight champion, ‘No Mercy’ lost his corner due to VISA issues. As a result, Yan began shopping around for potential big names to help train him. Two such names that offered their services were Henry Cejudo and Sean O’Malley.
