UFC bantamweight contenders Sean O’Malley and Cody Garbandt got into it again on Twitter, continuing to trade shots with each other. O’Malley and Garbrandt traded shots on Friday night, with O’Malley warning Garbrandt he would knock him out if they fight. Garbrandt fired back at O’Malley, joking about his ranking at the bottom of the top-15 and saying he will run both 125lbs and 135lbs by the end of next year. The shots continued into Saturday as both men continued to trade shots with each other on social media.

Last month, the bantamweight standout criticized the UFC’s partnership with Reebok after he claimed that he only made $3k as part of their sponsorship deal, despite him generating the company over a million dollars in sales. According to O’Malley, he was paid incredibly low royalties given the success of his clothing with the company.

The UFC officially announced the main card for UFC 252 during the UFC 251 broadcast. The promotion’s next pay-per-view event takes place on August 15 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main event of the evening features the trilogy fight between UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic and rival Daniel Cormier. The odds for that bout were previously revealed last fall, with that fight opening as a Pick ’em.

UFC bantamweight prospect Sean O’Malley is starting his own apparel line after “getting sh*t” from the oft-criticized UFC-Reebok deal. The UFC and Reebok agreed to a six-year, $70 million deal in 2014 to become the promotion’s official clothing sponsor until 2020. However, the deal has been harshly criticized by fans, fighters and media since then, with many accusing the UFC of not dishing out enough of the money to the fighters. The fighters are not able to have individual sponsorships in the cage and during fight week due to the Reebok deal, which further hurts their wallets in a deal that greatly favored the UFC over the athletes.
