The most notable change in this latest iteration of the UFC rankings occured on the pound-for-pound list, where the former heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier took a major tumble after losing to Stipe Miocic in the card’s main event. Elsewhere in the new UFC rankings, main card winners Nate Diaz and Paulo Costa made big climbs in the welterweight and middleweight rankings respectively on the strength of their decision defeats of Anthony Pettis and Yoel Romero.

UFC 241 has come and gone. In the main event of this stacked pay-per-view card, we saw Stipe Miocic challenge Daniel Cormier for the heavyweight title. The card also featured the return of the fan favorite Nate Diaz, who took on Anthony Pettis in the co-main event. In the end, Miocic TKO’d Cormier in the fourth round to reclaim the heavyweight title. Diaz, meanwhile, beat Pettis by unanimous decision to get back into the win column.

The disclosed salaries have been released for UFC 241, and new UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic led the way with a $750,000 payday. Miocic knocked out Daniel Cormier in the fourth round to win back the title he lost last year. He received no win bonus for the victory. The man he took the belt from, DC, banked $500,000 in the loss. In the co-main event, Nate Diaz took home $250,000 for his unanimous decision win over Anthony Pettis. There was no win bonus awarded to Diaz. “Showtime” took home $155,000 in the loss.

After finishing DC with strikes in the fourth round, Miocic did a little jig in the center of the Octagon.
