Stipe Miocic issues statement following his first-round knockout loss to Daniel Cormier
Stipe Miocic has issued a statement shortly following his shocking first-round knockout loss to Daniel Cormier at UFC 226.
Cormier was able to catch Miocic with a right hand late in round one which sent Stipe crashing to the canvas. From there, “DC” would unleash some heavy ground and pound which put his opponent to sleep (watch that here).
The now former “Baddest Man On The Planet”, Stipe Miocic, took to Twitter shortly following the conclusion of tonight’s main event where he shared the following photo and message to his fans.
Tonight wasn’t my night. I’m feeling good. Thanks to all my fans for the support. Love you guys! See you back in The Land! pic.twitter.com/D2KUR4ex4d
