Three Major Fights Added to UFC on FOX in Winnipeg
The announcements just keep pouring in. The end of the year for the UFC is looking absolutely incredible. Just yesterday, a fight between Robbie Lawler and Rafael dos Anjos was booked as a main event for UFC on FOX 26 in Winnipeg. A fight which Dana White said today will be to decide who challenges Tyron Woodley for the welterweight title. That’s not all, a huge fight between Jose Aldo and Ricardo Lamas was just added as the co-main event.

Other fights announced were Mike Perry against ninth ranked Santiago Ponzinibbio, and Jordan Mein fighting Erick Silva. Both scraps to encourage movement in the UFC’s welterweight division, which seems to be heating up again. Jose Aldo and Ricardo Lamas first fought at UFC 169, ending with a decision in the former featherweight champions favor. As Lawler/RDA decides who challenges Woodley next for the title, Aldo/Lamas may be a fight to decide who gets the next UFC featherweight title shot.
UFC Winnipeg will grace us with its violent presence on December 16th, it will follow the super-stacked UFC 218 card on December 2nd and Cub Swanson versus Brian Ortega on December 9th.
