Pros react to TJ DIllashaw’s title-winning knockout of Cody Garbrandt
Last night, in the co-main event of UFC 217, Cody Garbrandt sought to defend his title against his fiercest rival, TJ Dillashaw. Though he almost won in the first round, the iron-fisted Garbrandt ultimately found himself on the receiving end of a second-round knockout, relinquishing the title to Dillashaw in the process.
Having trained with TJ for this fight. He deserved this win 👏🏽 I hope to see these guys fight multiple times #ufc217

This win was TJ Dillashaw’s third straight, as he defeated Raphael Assuncao and John Lineker by decision in his two most recent outings. In his next most recent fight, he lost a decision to former champ Dominick Cruz.
Garbrandt, meanwhile, has now lost for the first time. He’s now 11-1 overall.
What did you think of TJ Dillashaw’s incredible KO win over Cody Garbrandt at UFC 217? Who do you want to see the new champ fight next?
