Travis Browne cringes over what it’s like just trying to enjoy dinner out with girlfriend Ronda Rousey

We don’t see the power couple Travis Browne and Ronda Rousey out much in the public eye together.

With Rousey coming off the second loss of her career, she has stayed out of the media spotlight for the most part, with just a few glimpses of her out in the public and on social media.

However, “Hapa” recently explained on ESPN’s 5ive Rounds podcast that they are simply living their lives while trying to keep the public in check as much as possible.

“As far as being out in the public eye, it’s been, we don’t let other people dictate our lives,” Browne said. “We are going to do what we want to do. We are going to live our life. You know, whether it’s somebody trying to get a sneaky picture, or this or that. Maybe that’s one reason I get a bad rap sometimes is because I’m straight forward with people.

“We were out to dinner one time, some guy was like reaching over his dinner or over his wife and around the corner trying to snap a picture. So I walked over to his table and sat down at his table, and was like, ‘Yeah, so, you know how it’s kind of rude that I’m sitting here at your table while you and your wife are trying to enjoy dinner, that’s the same thing as you trying to take a picture of us, buddy.’ I said, ‘It’s kind of rude. Just leave it alone. Just enjoy your dinner. You’re here with your wife. Enjoy your own company. Don’t make us an event. We are human beings. We appreciate our time as well.'”

“I also have no problem being forward with people like that, you know? I mean, if you treat us like human beings, we’ll treat you like a human being. You treat us like an event, you know, I’m gonna treat you the way you need to be treated.”
