PHOTO | Tyron Woodley unveils official UFC 209 poster

The UFC 209 poster has arrived! On March 4th, the UFC will hit Nevada once again for UFC 209, which is shaping up to be an early contender for ‘Card of the Year’.

In the main event, UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley will step into the Octagon in hopes of successfully defending his welterweight strap as he looks to defeat Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson. The pair of course fought once before, in the co-main event of UFC 205, where they fought to a majority draw that saw Woodley retain his 170 pound strap.

In the co-main event, streaking lightweight contenders Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson will fight for the interim lightweight title, with the winner moving on to face lightweight champion Conor McGregor when he decides to return to the Octagon later this year.

This week, Woodley took to social media to reveal the official UFC 209 fight poster. Check it out:

Also on the card, MMA veterans Mark Hunt and Alistair Overeem will step into the Octagon for a highly anticipated rematch nearly 10 years in the making. The pair met once before in the ring at DREAM 5 in 2008, where Overeem picked up a submission win over ‘The Super Samoan’.
